WHO ARE WE?
Greetings to you all! We are the G.A.T.E students from Sutton Park School,Mangere East, Auckland. G.A.T.E stands for Gifted and Talented Education.
Last year we worked on a project about Sugar. We found that our students and community consume a lot of sugar because of how cheap lollies, fizzy drinks is sold in our local dairies for a cheap price but milk is very expensive.

We created a petition to reduce the price of milk and to put a sugar tax on foods. We took our petition and project and flew to Wellington and presented it to our honourable Su'a William Sio .
Our 2015 group was successful and it still working on this petition today!

We have been asked by the Tongan Health Society to design a website to inform our students, parents/caregivers about Rheumatic Fever. We will attach it to our school website page and facebook page.

We aim to keep our peers well informed of our message, hence we have created this website to suit our students of Sutton Park School.

Big Thanks to the Tongan Health Society Inc who encouraged us to create this website.
